    The place is a local restaurant for home cooking, and calling it a "steak house" is a little off. Stick to down home favorites - burgers, cheese steak, the club sandwich - and you'll have a nice little meal.

    I go there fairly regularly when I visit Lafayette and I've never had a bad meal there. But if you go there expecting "steak house" quality, you're going to be disappointed. Not exactly why it is named "Grecian Steak House" but the food isn't terrible and I can't figure out if these negative reviews here are honest ones or not - maybe they are from people who came in with really high expectations instead of merely looking for a local family restaurant.

    I have eaten here quite a few times. It is an eighty mile round trip and I am happy to make the run. Good steaks, great spaghetti and the Sunday Buffet is well worth the money. Time to go back !!!! I see some complaints here and I am not familiar with the business they are complaining about. Doesn't resemble The Grecian I go to in Lafayette.

    The 2nd worst place I have been in Lafayette.  The ribs were terrible. My Mom said , "You know you're in trouble when you can't tell the meat from the bone."  Even the mashed potatoes were horrendous.  Dry and not enough milk or butter in them. Corn overdone.  The salad bar was standard.  The cake on it was dry
    And no frosting.  The waittress in back kept yelling over to our waittress. Totally unprofessional
    People were complaining at the table behind us. We told the waittress and all she said was sorry. No manager. No ambiance. Don't waste your money or time.

    Poor food an very poor service took forever to get our food an it was over cooked an had no flavor what so ever.

    They are the best stake house, they are experts in what they do, lasagna one of my favorites
